Electrical design with elMaster

elMaster is a CAD application for electrical and instrumentation design. With elMaster users can create and update diagrams and drawings such as circuit diagrams and electrical enclosure layouts. elMaster has network support for symbol library in order to share symbols in larger project groups. elMaster also has a built-in symbol administration with which users can create and administrate symbol libraries.

The program is easy to use and assist the users during the design process. Features such as automatically break-up and mending of connection lines when symbols are inserted and deleted also when the whole parts of diagram are copied, moved or deleted.

There is also support for generation of apparatus lists, wire/cable lists, BOM-lists, I/O lists, table of content and so on.
The CAD environment is directly connected to the design database where objects and connections are automatically created in pace with the design.

Analyze an electrical point™ for better overview

The connection handling in elMaster has a new feature where a smart analyze can be done for an electrical point. An electrical point can be an electrical signal connected over junction boxes or a signal in a cross-connection system. The analyze follows the signal over the termination point to the other side and through the next physical connection/cable and further on to the consumer equipment.

Follow the signal from an instrument all the way to IO card. A feature to be used when looking for problems such electrical disturbances.

Analyzes within a power distribution for instrumentation etc will show affected equipment if the source is switched off or is broken.

The signal can automatically be created, and the result is a faster distinguishing of possible sources of problems.

Online connection

One and the same object can be represented by several CAD documents in a electrical plant. Documents show thus different plant aspects. In elMaster, the drawing environment is connected together with database in Master explorer. This makes efficiency when users change data. Drawing, apparatus, cables etc. will be saved and updated to database when drawing. Changes on reference designations are directly saved to database. With elMaster you can create instrument loops with related I/O management and print out IO lists. Support for traceability and audit management gives you a system with maximum power and safety.
